Misoprostol and mifepristone indication:
Used to end pregnancy through 10 days gestation (70 days or less since the first day of last menstrual day).

Works:
It works by stopping supply of hormones that maintain the interior of the uterus. Without these hormones, the uterus cannot support the pregnancy, and the contents of the uterus are expelled.
Misoprostol is used in combination with mifepristone to end an early pregnancy (medical abortion) or alone for early pregnancy loss (miscarriage).

Each uncoated tablet contains:
Mifepristone IP – 200 msg

B.4 Misoprostol Tablets IP
Each uncoated tablet contains:
Misoprostol IP – 200 mcg
(As Misoprostol 1% dispersion).

Lactation: Synopill should be avoided by breastfeeding mothers.
